We all want the truth for ourselves. This is my compilation.

I stopped consuming coffee for a month as an experiment. But I’m back to sippin’ that hot goodness, I just love it so!
Side note: easiest way to spread cheer to those who are open and responsive to simple gestures: pour a heart, baristas!

Snowglobe in April.

Outside it’s like the world is being sprinkled with powdered sugar… The morning’s rain became fatter and fluffier until the cold turned it to snow. Light snow. Like powdered sugar on a crepe, a light glaze. It’s beautiful.

A day off…

It is my habitual Tuesday, where no, I am not restricted to spending the hours of beautiful daily Flagstaff weather in my coffee shop. So what is on my agenda…. Coffee. Iced. Sunscreen, the lake, a coupla hours alone on a rock, listening to the silence. My book. Watching the insects, the fishermen, the mountains in the distance, solid. Beautiful afternoon, super peaceful.

And now…..

I feel it. It stings, that fuckin burning sensation on my blonde skin is here again, after only a few days’ respite. You think I’d learn… 8000 feet of elevation and bright arizona sunshine, no clouds or shade offered in this dry landscape.

Only good thing about a burned back: great excuse to sleep naked.

Lake Mary - Feelin’ good at the lakeside… only the beginning of spring, but mid 60’s, plenty of sunshine and wide open plains for me and my notebook. 8,000 feet high amidst volcanic rock, only one or two fishermen on the other side of shore: pretty, quiet space to rejuvenate the senses.
